My wife and I stayed eight nights and enjoyed everything about this hotel. I thought the price was a very good value. Our 14th floor, standard, room had a nice view of the city. My wife is very particular about pillows and she mentioned how much she liked hers.
We routinely met fellow travelers from around the world.
Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable.
The restaurant breakfast has four prefix options for $10 USD each. I liked the French potato, sausage and egg tort the best. I highly recommend to get breakfast there before starting your day of sightseeing.
Like the other reviews mentioned, it's right above an MRT station and is very convenient for public transportation. The laundry room is clean and they provide laundry detergent, irons, ironing boards, and a shoe dryer. A wash costs ~$1.70 USD. Dyrers cost about $0.33 for each 10 minutes. You will only need 20 minutes.
On the 8th, and 14th floors there are filtered water dispensers!! The staff speak English and they are very helpful.
There is a private gym attached to the lobby the hotel guests can use for free.
In the evening you can purchase wine and beer for reasonable prices and sit out on the lobby/restaurant patio. The lobby is on the 6th floor of the building and rooms start on the 7th floor. It is very nice. They have an indoor bar attended from 3-5 but it might be only on the weekend.
